Welcome from Co-op Academy New Islington

Dear Parents and Carers,

It has been lovely to welcome back the New Islington community as the Summer term has got underway. This half-term is always a packed one, including, of course, our Year 6 SATs and other assessments throughout school. Despite this, we are committed to keeping New Islington the happy and purposeful place it is and can't wait to engage our children in exceptional learning.

Keep an eye out in the coming weeks for updates on our library. Construction has been completed and we will soon be announcing the date for our grand opening!

We would also like to thank parents for your engagement with our recent Edurio survey. Our leadership team is in the process of looking through the results and looking at how we can develop our community engagement offer based on your feedback.

As always, thank you for your continued support,

Mr Berry

What a Busy Week!

Our children have been enjoying the spring sunshine in Forest School. Our fruit trees are in full bloom, and plants around the grounds are looking so beautiful in the sun.

Our best fun spring fact we learned this week was that nature researchers and animal behaviour studies have shown that, other than pollinating trees and flowers, bumble bees also like to play football, just like humans.
