Parent Forum:

We have our Spring Term Parent Forum on Wednesday 22nd March at 2:30. Come along to meet other parents, and to chat about the school. Bring your questions and queries, and your suggestions. A member of the office team will be on hand to answer any administrative questions, as well as our two Parent governors. Do come along!

Locusts Gardening Club – Free Event tomorrow!

The Locusts is a family focused gardening gang designed to inspire the next wave of urban horticulturalists (and have a grand green adventure too).

Workshops take place 1-3pm in Sadler’s Yard (wet weather contingency is in place!) between March – October and are designed to be family friendly, so everyone is welcome to join.

From creepy crawlies to big digs, we always have plenty of opportunity to get (and keep getting) your hands dirty through city gardening!

Aimed at children between ages of 4 and 10.

All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

All tools and equipment provided. Book your family ticket here:

British Science Week:

Thank you to the scientists who came in this week to work with our pupils, to talk about their profession and inspire the next generation! Dr Michael Harris from the University of Manchester brought science to life with our Year 5 and 6 classes, turning plastic into soil. Dr Gloria Lopez-Castejon who is a Senior Research Fellow at the Lydia Becker Institute of Immunology and Inflammation and Dr. Ania Jolly who is Head of Research and Business Development at the Henry Royce Institute came in to talk with our Year 2s and Year 5s. Feedback from the pupils was so positive.

Key dates:

The following list gives an outline of the term’s events. They are not set in stone! New additions or alterations will be highlighted. Greater details will be given as appropriate nearer the time.
