Our pupils have been excited and enthused through our ‘Mystery Reader’ initiative.

Parents have signed up to come in and share their favourite book with the children. It’s kept a secret from the children until the moment that the parent walks in the class – you should see the children’s faces!

Kai’s mum, Gloria says:

“It was 20mins of pure joy! The kids were excited, engaged, and a captive audience! They really enjoyed the experience of having a parent come to read to them! (I know I wasn’t Quentin Blake -the illustrator- that they were expecting but they treated me like a star. I loved the session! As a parent it was wonderful to experience that joy and connection to reading with the Year 2’s. I recommend it to every parent”
