To celebrate Number Day today, we had a whole-school maths focus on number skills. Reception centred their attention on counting, Year 1 on addition, and Years 2 to 6 on times tables. Across the school, many skills builder skills were demonstrated excellently, including teamwork and problem solving. The children also displayed great speaking skills, as they reasoned mathematically. 

4JJ worked really hard during nuber day, completing plenty of ball skills activities and using these numbers within different times table challenges. We also worked as teams to complete challenges which included planning a party, a holiday, different shapes and how to make different size bags of sweets.
