On Friday 13th June, we were delighted to host our very first Big Lunch - a vibrant community event bringing together pupils, families, and staff to share food, laughter, and connection in the sunshine.

With over 240 meals served, the playground was full of life as children played and families relaxed together. Thanks to the generosity of our school community, children donated a wonderful variety of food items to contribute to the shared meal. Local restaurant Viet Shack kindly prepared delicious rice for us on the day, and our fantastic team of parent and staff volunteers helped serve food, run the event, and tidy up afterwards.

Any leftover food was donated to Mad Dogs Homeless Project, helping to support those in need beyond our school gates.

The Big Lunch was a celebration of kindness, community spirit, and the power of sharing - and we’re already looking forward to the next one!
