We’re making our city a greener space!

Over the last two weeks, 15 Year 3 and Year 4 pupils have planted over 200 snowdrops and various wild flowers in Manchester’s green spaces around Sadler’s Yard and Miller Street.

The children enjoyed getting their hands in the soil to make our city a greener place. Snowdrops are very pretty perennial woodland flowers that blossom before any other bulbs in late January to usher in spring and chase away the winter blues.

Many thanks to the kind staff of Plant NOMA for inviting us and providing our children with such a fantastic activity.

Watch out for the beautiful flower displays as you walk through Sadler’s Yard and along Miller Street in the seasons to come!
